YAL Connect is a bespoke scholarship program offered by YAL to support young Australians to overcome their barriers and reach their educational goals.

YAL Connect offers a wide range of scholarships. By donating to the program you are assisting a young person to stay on their educational journey whatever that looks like to them, from working with a trade to finishing high school to pursuing an education in the medical field.

YAL Patch is an opportunity to give back to the clients at YAL Cairns and make the emergency accommodation feel more like home.

An educational food garden located at YAL Cairns in partnership with Anglicare NQ, STEPS Education & Training. This project provides a broad range of skill development, literacy and numeracy, resilience, and well-being for people housed at YAL’s facility while they are rebuilding their lives through engagement in nature.

By donating to this project you invest in the education of disadvantaged Australians tailored to them and their individual experience.

From garden beds, plants, and soil to compost bins your support can make a monumental difference.

65% of students will start the 2024 school year without the basic back-to-school stationery packs.

The YAL Stationery Drive helps students who need a bit of support going to school next year by supplying them with quality stationery to kick start their school year off the right way.

These are the reasons the YAL Annual Stationery Drive is imperative. It helps students who need a bit of support going to school next year. 2024 is our 7th year of providing this service to students who need an extra pen, notepad or pair of scissors.
